about dani

Dani Stacy is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter. Originally from Hanford, California, she grew up in a musical household listening to timeless storytellers like James Taylor and Sheryl Crow alongside classic 2000s pop and R&B icons, shaping a sound that feels both nostalgic and uniquely her own.

Dani began her music career after moving to Ventura, where she played open mics and joined a couple of bands. She later moved to Los Angeles and released her first single, "Lie to Me," before ultimately settling in Nashville, where she refined her craft as both a writer and an artist.

She made her national debut on The Voice, earning a four-chair turn with her soulful, stripped-down rendition of “I Will Survive,”  which went on to surpass a million streams. Dani continues to captivate audiences with her recent works, including her EP Almost Famous, blending pop and R&B, and singles like “When the Sun Hit Different” and “Where My Brother Lives,” showcasing her storytelling and aching sense of nostalgia.

From heartbreak anthems to songs about a wild night out, Dani tells stories that make you want to dance, cry…or both. Her live performances radiate emotional honesty, offering a mix of grit and vulnerability, whether it’s a solo acoustic set, a stripped-back set with cello, or a full-band performance.

With a new EP on the horizon, set for release early next year, Dani Stacy continues to carve out her own lane, blending her musical roots with a fresh, modern edge.
